But to us, who have had our eyes opened to see Him, Christ has become our joy, our life, our all-in-all. However, the wonder of this vision is not given to just a select few. Blindness is due to our sin! Darkness pervades the soul because we love ourselves more than God. We must turn to God if we want to see.

On the road from Jericho, Jesus hears the pitiful cry of a miserable blind men. He stops suddenly because a broken heart always captures His attention. Jesus asks the man what he wants. He replied, "Give me my sight." In an instant, his darkness vanished away like the mist. for the first time in his life, he experiences the delight of 20/20 vision. He never got over it!

Salvation is God's gift to those who repent and cry out to Christ for His mercy. When we taste and see the goodness of God, nothing of this world can ever bring us complete satisfaction again.
