a deep dark night, as you stare into the panoply of the starry heavens. Have you
ever asked yourself the question: Who made this? Is this simply caused by time
and chance? Is there any intelligent design behind all of creation? The voice of
eternity speaks in clear and unmistakable terms to the heart of every human soul
that the visible things were made by the great invisible One--The Creator Of It
All! However, such contemplation conjures up a flood of questions: Does He
really care about me? Do I have to give any responsible accounting to Him for my
thoughts and actions? Will He forgive me for my wrong choices? Can He guide my
life in such a way that I can experience enduring joy independent of the need of
artificial stimulants that only produce a superficial happiness? The
answer to all these questions is a resounding "Yes!" The unseen God,
who manifested Himself in the general creation of the world, has specifically
revealed himself in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus accurately
declared. "He that hath seen me hath seen the Father." However, the
primary purpose of His life was not just to reveal God to man but to reconcile
man completely back to God. Through the sacrificial death of Jesus on a cross,
God placed on Him the sins that have separated the world from the Father. In
Christ, God was reconciling the world unto Himself not charging us for our sins.
Do you long for reconciliation? Is there within your heart the desire to have a
genuine relationship with the living God? Then confess your utter dependence on
Christ's death as the only way to salvation. Come in faith to your Creator, and
be reconciled to God!
