Steve
and Terry Pettit and their children Rebecca, Rachel, Stephen, and Michael have
been traveling in full-time evangelism since 1985. In 1992, the Lord brought the
Pettits to the point of forming a specialized ministry team. Over the past
several years, the team has developed to include a group of young men and women
who serve in revival meetings by ministering in special music. for the glory of
God and the edification of the saints, their music remains an important part of
each service. Every song is designed to prepare hearts for the reception of the
Word of God. Desiring to praise the Lord through music, the Pettit team has
previously produced Wings of Love, a solo recording by terry
Pettit: Once For All, a team vocal recording; and Harvest,
an instrumental collection of Appalachian Hymns. In continuation with the same
heart desire, O Love Divine is a genuine expression of praise to
God. May this recording be used to minister to the heart of every listener.
We are grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ for
the ministry He has given us in evangelism through local churches. All these
songs have been used daily in our services as we minister to god's people. We
offer special thanks to our friends who assisted in this recording: John Roberts
(guitar), don Barrett (String Bass), Jim Wingate (Banjo), Rob Chisholm (Tenor),
and Mary Allyell Purtle (Oboe). their talents added variety and depth to the
music. We appreciate their servant's spirit.
