A personal note from Fred Coleman...
For too many of us, as we make our way through the circumstances of life, our hearts are anything but quiet. We are restless and rebellious by nature. Our hearts are filled with noise.

No doubt, you've experienced it. Fear has overwhelmed you, and you struggle to trust God and His Word. Pride has sowed resentment, jealousy, discontentment, and even hatred in your heart. Your natural flesh and its desires have kindled and finally raged, in wicked and lustful thoughts. We are rebels toward the goodness of God.

All the while, most of us know that it is only in His Word and through His Holy Spirit that the turmoil of our lives can be quieted and calmed. We look everywhere except the Bible, God's Holy Word, to find relief. We seek every avenue of advice except our heavenly Father's.

Listen to the songs on this recording after reading and meditating on the Scriptures. Let each song remind you that God would have you listen to His Word and His Spirit; be still and know the truth can set you free. Know that in your obedience to His Word, love's perfect joy can be restored. Tomorrow may bring what it will, but a loving Heavenly Father, Who is ever present and all wise, orders all circumstances.

Rejoice that we are never alone; God is with us! Recognize that our thoughts are not His thoughts. Know that He has a perfect design for each life and will mysteriously work out each step. Recognize that along the way, in the midst of difficulty, He sends rays of joyful, encouraging light. His will and His Word will reign forever. Come before the throne of God, and see the Lord Jesus Christ at His right hand.
