About Pillsbury Baptist Bible College
Pillsbury Baptist Bible College is located in Owatonna, Minnesota, approximately 65 miles south of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. founded in 1957, Pillsbury seeks to train young men and women for various phases of local church ministry.

The curriculum centers on the Bible. All courses are taught from a Christ-centered perspective and are consistent with fundamental Baptist doctrine. Twenty four majors and twenty two minors are available, leading to a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. In addition, there are a one-year Bible certificate, a two year Associate of Applied Science degree, and a two year Practiced Christian Workers diploma available. Extra-curricular activities include: intercollegiate sports, music, dramatics, student government, photography, and publications. Financial aid is available for both needy and meritorious students.

The Music Department
The goal of Pillsbury's Music Department is to motivate students to train in music for a lifetime of service for the Lord. The program is designed for student participation. Pillsbury offers a major or minor in music as well as a music education major for future teachers. Each program trains students for service in a local church ministry.

Ensembles include the Concert Choir, hallelujah voices, and Handbells. Music teams regularly travel to minister in churches and Christian schools throughout the year.

My Great Redeemer's Praise
This recording of Pillsbury's 1999-2000 Concert Choir, Hallelujah Voices, and Handbell Choir was made on May 4, 2000, in the auditorium of Grace Baptist Church of Owatonna, MN. The music was prepared under the direction of Professor Darrell Bevis, Chairman of the Department of Fine Arts, and Professor Jeff Raehl of the Music Department. The Accompanist for the Concert Choir was Heidi Bjokne and Heather Bjokne accompanied the Hallelujah Voices.

The recording session was a highlight of the 199-200 year which included performances at campus events such as Harvest Home, the 1999 Pillsbury fall choir Festival, Christmas at Pillsbury, and the Commencement Concert. In addition, the Handbell Choir and Hallelujah Voices each toured during the Spring Break and on weekends throughout the school year.
