Listeners around the world were attracted to the inspiring music of Dr. Charles E. Fuller's Old Fashioned Revival Hour. Again and again listeners wrote to tell how the music of the program first drew them to the broadcast... Dr. Fuller's stirring evangelistic messages based on the simple truth of God's Word brought many to trust the Christ of eternity as their personal Lord and Savior.

Music was a major part of the Old Fashioned Revival Hour, accounting for more than half of each hour long broadcast. Imagine, if you will, an OFRH broadcast made up almost entirely of music. Well imagine no more, for we have created one!

This CD has been designed to simulate an actual OFRH radio program, complete with the opening strains of Jesus Saves, the congregation's singing the familiar Heavenly Sunshine and a closing invitation be Dr. Fuller. All of the music -- a whopping 30 selections -- is from actual OFRH broadcasts spanning a period of two decades.

This album features the Chorus Choir under the direction of Dr. H. Leland Green, the OFRH Quartet, accompanists Rudy Atwood, George Broadbent and Ann Ortlund, and soloists Beth Farnum and Bill Cole.

The recordings used to make this CD are the same 16" vintage radio transcriptions that were actually used by radio stations to originally air broadcasts. They have been digitally re-mastered to remove record surface noise.
