Why God chooses to inflict pain, or send trials or even take the life of a loved one is not always ours to understand. In Heaven, it will be revealed. Until that time, may the truth of this song bring comfort to the hurting hearts of those we call our friends. He Rose Again -- Thinking of how Mary must have felt after the death of Jesus, I cannot imagine and problem in her life that seemed as great as His death. The fact that Jesus came to her and showed His power through His resurrection proved to her and proves to us that there is no problem He cannot solve. In Remembrance Of Me -- This song was written in an attempt to convey the emotional side of the last night Jesus spent with His disciples prior to Calvary. The phrase, "This do in remembrance of me" was not only spoken to those present, but to those who would one day stop and take the time to thank the Lord for all He has done. We Must Go -- Standing in the midst of an apartment complex in Marshall, Texas, one Saturday, I realized that if these people , especially the children, had a choice, they would love to change their lives and live differently. The only chance they have is Jesus. The Great Commission is not a request but a command. If this world is to have any hope - we must go. Broken Boards And Broken Pieces -- After going through some discouraging events that left us feeling as though God was through with us, our Pastor, Dr. Bob Gray, preached a Sunday morning message that reminded us that God is never through using a man. When Paul's ship broke apart in the storm, God still used the broken pieces of the ship to rescue lost souls. (Acts 27:44) Why Did You Not Tell Me? -- At no time in our life will our failure to share the gospel be more devastating and heart wrenching than at the Judgment Seat of Christ. At that point in time, there will be no more opportunities to share the gospel. What a haunting question will be posed be those whom we failed to tell - Why did you not tell me? You Are The One -- This song was written on the occasion of the marriage of Mark VanKleek and Priscilla Jackson. God brought about some unusual circumstances to bring the two of them together. When we leave the decision in God's hands, He will always reward us with the one that was tailor made for us from the beginning of time and who will be with us for all eternity.
