Message Inside The CD Insert...
Irish blessing is an amazing dream the Lord has allowed me to accomplish on this journey I began as a sophomore in high school. During that year, I realized music would play an integral role throughout the rest of my life. I thank God every day for the passion He has given me for music and for the people He has providentially placed in my life who encourage my continued pursuit of this passion.

Several recent events in my life have influenced my decision to record an Irish CD: My marriage to Jeremy on St. Patrick's Day in 2006; our Irish Pastor presenting the charge at our wedding; and our honeymoon in Ireland are a few of these events. My married name, "Hickey" is derived from one of the most ancient Gaelic surnames in Ireland "O hlcidhe" meaning "healer."

Though I have been through some great trials in my life, I am always brought back to the promise God gives us in Proverbs 3:5-6. I know that I must simply trust in God, regardless of what may lie ahead on the path of life. My prayer is that these songs will serve as a reminder of God's faithfulness to you; and as you continue down your life's path, "May God hold you in the palm of His hand."
