The message inside the CD cover reads...
Beth Horton grew up in Tampa, Florida, where she attended Hillsdale Baptist Church with her family. It was there that her singing career began under the tutelage of the music director, Rev. Dick Nichols.

In 1987, Beth entered Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, where she earned a bachelors degree in Counseling and a masters degree in Personnel Services. While at Bob Jones University, she studied voice with Mrs. Jean Greer. She won several awards, including the 1988 National Association of Teachers of Singing Award and a 1990 commencement award. She also was a student soloist in the University production of the opera II Travatore, singing the role of Inez.

After completing her studies, Beth joined the staff of Dublin Christian Academy in Dublin, NH. During her four years at Dublin Christian Academy, she taught voice lessons, judged area music competitions, and sang in local churches.

Recently, Beth has joined in performances with the Greenville Chorale and has been featured as a soloist in the Bob Jones University Chorale performance of Mozart's Requiem.

Currently Beth and her husband, Paul Barnard, live in Greenville, SC, where she sings frequently in her church and on the campus of Bob Jones University. She is a member of the Wilds A Cappella Chorale and sings on the recordings under the SMS label. She also teaches private voice lessons in her home.
